Jay worked with us a few years ago and got our family to a point where we could walk all three of our medium/large dogs with different triggers/reactivity in one hand, in public, on a loose leash. I found Alpha and Omega Dog Training from a Google search for dog trainers near Cleveland, OH. I read almost all 38, FIVE STAR reviews, so I gave them a shot. Upon meeting Karlon, he was a wealth of knowledge about how he planned on training my 8 month old, Golden Retriever. Looking back on that now, he was right. It's more about training the humans to control the dog. Our dog was constantly darting off all over the place. He had terrible leash control, that made walking him a chore. He also jumped on the table for food scraps. Karlon had a plan! We decided to do the kennel training option, where our dog went to live and train with Karlon for a week. Then we setup several 1-on-1 training sessions, where he would teach us how to implement the new commands. I was SO HAPPY with the results!! Our dog will now listen and obey to sitting on his "place or spot", Heal, Sit, Come, No, Leave It, Up, Down and Release OK. He is like a new dog!

I can have company without one barking like crazy & the other attacking with licks. Now they sit in their spots without issue! My child can even walk BOTH dogs by herself. Karlon is a great trainer. He started with us when our dog was 6 months. We set our goals and expectations for the training and made a plan. The training exceeded our expectations. Not only did we receive the initial training, but we have a place to board our dog when we need at a very reasonable cost and access to more training if needed. Karlon is a great trainer.
