Dog Behavior Training & Development
Behavioral Development (Level 3)
Session quantity is based on the type of behavior being trained — trainer’s call.
- You and your dog will work off the foundation of basic obedience both on and off-leash influence with added expectations designed to develop more powerful teamwork between you and your dog.
Note: Other Levels of AlphA and Omega training may require completion to participate in this program. Speak to your trainer for details.
Our Behavioral Development program includes:
- Handling management on-and-off-leash sessions. These will take place in the real world with real distractions (park, beach, — your choice). Building of reciprocal trust.
- Leash application and handling management sessions. These sessions are done In-Home or in a familiar environment.
- Off-leash handling management training sessions. These will take place in the real world with real distractions (park, beach, store — your choice)
- Behavioral Developments sessions dedicated to addressing specific behaviors identified throughout the training process.Building of reciprocal trust and respect.
- Video conference sessions.
- Unlimited text and telephone support via your trainer or an AlphA and Omega trainer.
Curriculum:
- All functioning commands including Heel, Sit, Stay, Down, Come. Walk in the heel position on-and-off-leash, kennel acclimation, the establishment of boundaries in and outside of the home, redirect, distance recall, drop it and leave it, and go-to spot.
- This is a great program if you’re looking to take a proactive approach to dog training and avoid some of the most common and troublesome behaviors in and around your home!
- As with all training packages, this program requires dedication and commitment on your part.
- During Behavioral Development, the focus expands past handling techniques and delves into the psychology of the dog to change the relationship between you and your companion and enjoy a new way of living.
- You will learn the foundations for addressing any behavior issues exhibited by your dog.
