Our training programs are done in the real world. Training done in the isolation of a “facility” does nothing to address the issues you deal with in the environment you live with your dog. In order to address the behaviors which brings you to us in the first place, we need to be in the setting in which you live, work or play with your companion. Moreover, to be properly socialized, your companion must be trained with naturally occurring stimuli. We welcome distractions…it proofs the training.
Everybody loves Lucy…our almost year old Boxer/Bulldog rescue. But just like the zany televsion character, some of our Lucy’s behavior was outrageous and potentially dangerous. To put it bluntly, she was driving us crazy. So when my veterinarian referred us to Alpha and Omega Dog Training, I called for an evaluation. Jay the Trainer came to our rescue and took control of the leash. Six weeks later, Lucy remains the same lovable and looney puppy but with an added dimension of respect for our authority and security with her role in the pack. We’re still a work in progress but thanks to Alpha and Omega Dog Training, we’ve become calmer and more confident and dog owners.
