Proper Puppy Training:
Session quantity is based on the type of behavior being trained — trainer’s call.
You will learn the essentials for getting you and your puppy off on the right track to being an obedient, well-behaved dog, and you — a good pack leader.
This training is a continuation of what a puppy learns from its mother: Self-restraint, impulse control, and boundaries.
Our Proper Puppy Training Program includes:
- Leash application and handling management sessions. These sessions are done In-Home or in a familiar environment.
- Unlimited text and telephone support via your trainer or an AlphA and Omega trainer.
- Video conference sessions.
Curriculum:
- Basic puppy commands — Heel, Sit, Stay, Down, Come, Drop It, Leave It, Off, Spot/Place. Puppy Potty training. Introduction of leash and kennel acclimation, name recognition, meeting and greeting friends, environmental socialization, boundaries, appropriate play, pack structure, and preventing separation anxiety.
- This training is tailored specifically for puppies between eight weeks and six months. An ongoing commitment from you to balance love and affection with firmness and fairness will start you on a path of communication that your puppy inherently understands. Our Proper Puppy Program creates a healthy balance of structured learning and play.
